●ストーリー
街の治安維持や遺跡調査を生業にする『プロテクター』の少女エルファ・ブルースタは、兄のキールと共に遺跡の調査中であったが、
ケンカにより別行動をとることに。
1人で歩を進めるエルファの前に、ブルースタ兄妹に恨みを抱くオーク族のラガーが現れる。
以前エルファに敗けた弟の復讐を遂げるため彼女に襲い掛かるラガーだが、エルファの卓越した戦闘力により返り討ちに合う。
決着がついたと思われたが、突如として肉体が大きく変貌したラガーの強烈な攻撃を受け、エルファは腹部に大ダメージを負ってしまう。
治癒魔法で傷を治そうとするエルファだが、ラガーはそれを許さずに両手で少女の細く柔らかな首をギリギリと絞めつけ、さらに大きなダメージでエルファを絶対絶命の窮地に追い込む。
